Dave just told me what is up! Yay for his responsiveness! Turns out that if you're exporting from Word 2008 (as opposed to previous versions of Word), you have to click the "Other Encoding" option and select the Unicode (UTF-8) format option to import properly to iFlash.

I'm on OS 10.5.8 (not Snow Leopard) but I (and my Spanish students) have lost the ability to import txt and cvs files. A student confirmed the problem. It used to work fine! What's up?
