Upcoming Update: iFlash 2.7.5

Loopware — admin @ February 10, 2008

I’m currently working on another iFlash update (2.7.5) that will fix some more Leopard issues that have been discovered. Currently the bug fix list includes:

- (Leopard) iFlash won’t crash anymore when trying to customize the toolbar
- (Leopard) Pressing Return while editing will go to the next card, like it did in Mac OS X 10.4.

If you have any small easy to fix bugs/changes, please comment below and I’ll consider them for the update. I hope to have it released within a week.

Thanks! :-)

Edit (2/19/08): I’ve delayed 2.7.5 a little longer to address a few more issues (like making table column position and width stored separately in each deck).

iPhone and iPod touch support for iFlash

Loopware — admin @ January 16, 2008

Just a note: iFlash’s iPod export feature isn’t compatible with the iPhone and iPod touch… yet. I plan on writing a portable version of iFlash for the iPhone/touch as soon as Apple releases their developer kit, which Steve Jobs has announced will happen in February.

I’m really eager to have iFlash on my phone, so this will definitely be top priority once the developer kit is released! :-)

New blog! (and the deck library’s back)

Loopware — admin @ January 11, 2008

Finally, the server migration is (mostly) complete! I’ve taken the opportunity to change to a new blogging sotware called chyrp, which appears totally awesome so far.

But the best news is that the iFlash Deck Library is finally back online! Yay! Although it took longer than expected, I’m happy with how the transition went. As a user, you shouldn’t notice anything different with the library. If you see anything wrong, please e-mail me!

Enjoy!
